My first truck

my first vehicle that i bought was a 1993 ford ranger but it wasnt the first that i ssaid was mine when i was 13 my dad bought me my first car a 1987 nissan maxima goin on 5 years later i still drive it today the truck i had it for two weeks and it was the best two weeks of my life

Because mud flaps can be a real bummer in the mud I mean come on now with mud flaps you can not through roost and spray people with mud or coat the whole back of the vehicle with mud. They tend to keep things to clean :icon_rofl:

well if u dont keep things clean then things are going rust out

my 1st vehicle was a 05 ranger edge 6000 miles on it used, had it for 3 years and plan to keep it alot longer, Rangers are all around prefect for anyone

nice 88, been thinkin bout getting one cheap to do a cheap restore on

Thanks and i know it was steal, no big mods planned. the fog lights where the best $20 i spent and a quite enjoyable 45 mins of installation! I'm from the middle to northern part of iowa so the streets tend to see ALOT of salt i have seen 98's and 99's missing 1/2 their fenders! It's what i wanted, it's what i got! And for the price i can drive it till it quits on me =/ try to find someone that also wants one and i could probly get my 500 back or with price of metal the local scrap yard should give me around 200! So drive it through next winter for only $300 that a no brainer!!!!:icon_twisted:

Real clean! And your lucky to be able to drive at 15, in NY you have to be 16 to get your permit/junior license, after 6 months you can get a junior license with full driving privileges until 9pm-5am. Without drivers ed, you can't get your full license until 18. I missed out on drivers ed last year (it was full) so I'm just going to wait until I'm 18.

I'd leave the flaps on. Keeps your paint nice and clean.

yeah here you can get permit at 14 then you can take D.E. and right away can get your school permit (i know a couple of freshman at my school that drive). Then at 16 if you have had your permit for longer then 6 months you can get a junior license with full driving privileges until 12:30am-i think 5am then with a clean year of driving (no tickets or stuff like that) you can get your full license :yahoo:

i would keep the truck take off the mud flaps and put the 4.0 in lift it big tires and she be a runner :headbang:

thats sweet you got a good deal
i kept my mud flaps on however they are them massive solid plastic ones that go with the fender flares

heres a pic :

its lame if i back over anything over about 6-8 inches tall it'll take them out :( and i dont want the bottme of my box to get chipped any more than it has

noooo I hate solid plastic flaps! I have always like the floppy rubber ones that flap just a little bit in the wind. I had them on my explorer and yes I did rip them off after like 7 different mudholes :)

Don't be easy on that 2.9! I ahve a 1992 and I rev it off the tach all the time. I beat that little slut and she LOVES it!

Sweet truck, Dubuque county huh? I live in clinton county, im only like an hour from dubuque, thats where i got the motor for mine.
