Haha. What a past few days. My mom's '97 escort threw a piston, and my rangers starter went out, so needless to say, we are car less.

So, we borrowed a friends B II, and it's a fatty pile. 1989 LX model, 138,000 [I'm assuming, with the 5 number display.] with the 2.9, 4spd with overdrive. It runs like total crap, and looks even worse. Slows down majorly going up hills, lifers are really sticking, chokes, coughs, and struggles to move. Got it with NO water, sucks gas, and smells like bacon when you really try and move.

The passenger front seat reclines at will, the vents are always blowing, the font for the speedometer is HUGE!!! It's a riot, SO loud and noisy.

All in all its a fun experience, nonetheless I have more of a feel of why you guys love your BII's, it could be a fun rig.

Just thought I would share.

Yes....they do.

4 speed??

They have an addictive personality

Very much so!! :icon_twisted:

B2 = :headbang:....You are going to hate to give that LIL Beast up no matter how bad of shape it's in.

BlackBII...he says 4 spd w/ OD, so it would technically be a 5 spd.

Haha. I see what you mean, about giving it up.

So, 5 speed then, but you don't use overspeed like a 5th gear, do you?

Doh! Missed that part. :D

well, most people that i know do..

and giving up that b2 will be like giving up a puppy, i had a wicked offer on mine and i told him to come take it but the day before i chickened out and told him i couldnt sell it :icon_thumby:
