My B2 FW SAS

I get my best on the open road with the cruise control on, torque convertor locked up and averaging between 65-70mph. When I had the old 2.9, it was pretty rare that the torque convertor would lock up, it was normally working too hard.

The Lockrite in the rear is pretty streetable. You will notice it during a u-turn and taking corners when it is wet or slick. After a few days, it will just become normal and is a non-issue. After having a selectable, and an automatic locker, I will never again buy a selectable unit due to the reliability issues. I want something simple and tough, something I dont have to worry about.

ok also, from anyone whos had one. upsides and downside and performance

i know they are pretty cheap, but to be 100% honest, i wouldnt waste a dime on them with my experience with mine. granted im running 38s, and im not real easy on my truck, but still. i only got half of a day out of it before all the teeth rounded and just started slipping. got myself in some 'not so good' situations because of it and had to figure out ways to get out with the help of a buddys truck and some inginuity(sp?). i will never run a lockrite again on any of the vehicles i own, but on that same note, i still have the lockrite in my dana 44 under my ranger, but its all welded up into a spool:icon_thumby:. sooooooooooo much better. hard on the steering and shafts, but sooooo much better for wheeling. my .02:icon_confused:

On the street with the hubs unlocked, you wont know its there. I have had my Lockrite up front for a couple of years without a single issue! Offroad, depending on your terrain (if its rocks and hardpack) you might want to upgrade to a power steering cooler and possibly a bigger pump down the road.

okay so i bought the locker. took you guys advice and went with the 5.13. im hoping to get all the parts inside inside the dana 44.
oh and check out my build, I NEED SOME OPINIONS

I really like your b2 I was wondering... What did you make your front bumper out of?

The front middle section is made of a 6 or 8" piece of 1/4" channel iron. The rest is all 1/4" plate. There is a bunch of pics of of it on my cardomain site.
