I had to bypass the hot tubs...between hells gate and the hot tubs is when my power steering pump threw a tantrum and began to boil. Two of the three looked pretty doable. I will try them next year when we head back!
Dude, I love your Bronco. It was one of the main inspirations for me to go full width on mine. What size tires are you running? They look like 35"s
And about how much of a lift?
Moab will definitely cause power steering issues. Trails like Hells Revenge primarily stay on the rocks the entire time. Its like driving around on the asphault, aired down and locked in. That stuff is pretty sticky!
Jester... Thanks for the compliments. Yes, I am running Goodyear MTR 35's. I have about 7" of suspension lift and no body lift. To the bottom of the rock sliders is 25".
Hey Bisquik, could I get you to check into my thread? Maybe you have some wisdom you could add. Been there, done that sort of thing. It looks like you're using the stock rear shock mounts, what length shocks are you running?
The pictures look awesome! Hell's Gate looks so evil from the bottom. Wasn't too bad though. Cliffhanger is a rough sum bitch. I would have really liked to hit up Pritchet Canyon, but ran out of time. Maybe the next time i go i will stay for a week, and just wheel all the trails.
Right on!!!!!!!! That's cool TOTM. I feel honored to have my rig in the same pics as yours. ;-) Met up with vf 1100 yesterday. We were talking about doing moab sometime this summer. We'll let you know and see if you Chris and josh can make it .
you have a really nice and inspiring B2!
And Im glad I can tell that to you because when I got mine, you where one of the first nice B2 that caught my eyes on the net.
And the good things...after all this time: I still look up to your rigs
And you convince me to go full wide when i'll do my SAS..
And by the way: I dream of a trail with a couple of B2!!!
never ride with another. But soon...one of my buddy is building one...and will probably be ready soon.
Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions of your SAS. You will really like it!
Moab was the first time I have wheeled with three other B2's. I have wheeled a few times with a group of RBV's but only one other B2. Its hard to get a big group of them together.
