So I got This truck a fe w years back, and have done quite abit of interrior work and very little exterior work to it. The only thing I did to the exterior is powder coat the red components, the guy who had it before me spray painted them and they got really rusted.

The guy who sold it to me called it a pre runner, but with 4 inches or extra travel, I call it a trail truck, But who says I can't get some air under those tires.

It has:
2.9 V6
Headers
Air Intake
Rancho Kit
Extra Leaf springs in the back
Full Roll cage
geared to 4.10
The rest is all standard XLT ranger stuff other than the stereo system

It has one problem that Ive been chasing around for awhile now and that it pulls when braking.
So far to try and fix it ive done new calipers, new front rubber brake lines, master cylinder, new brake pads, rotors turned and an alignment. Took it to a few shops and they gave it back not knowing the problem. Took it to ford and they did the brake seat procedure and said it fixed it and it did not fix it, so im about to take it back.

Sharp truck! I like that big RANGER sticker and that bed liner! I especially like the roll cage! :headbang:

looks good but need to cut those rear fenders to closer match the fronts!

check the caliper mounts and make sure the brakes are able to center up when applied. Mine pulls because hte slide moutns are mildly rusted and stick.

Do you mean pull them out more or less?

They aren't pulled out very far, the camera and the lighting just make them look like there popped out far.

That was the first thing I looked at. I read somewhere that sticking calaper slides were a thing on these trucks, but the slides are good.... I personally think there is something in the metal lines blocking some of the flow. If ford doesn't fix it when I take it in for there failure inspection and i get the time, ima force bleed the system and check the line splitter that separates the line that goes from the master into the left and right front tires.

Ill post in the brake forum if ford fails again. They say they will continue there inspection where they left off for free.

thanks for the comments guys! :headbang:
