My 83 306/C4 Ranger Build

Made more progress on the Ranger today. I got the 3.0 V6 and tranny out. Trimmed the core support for the radiator to fit. Picked up a Chrome grill, bumper and headlight trim Thursday.

Plan now is to finish taking everything off that needs to go. Change the 7.5 rearend out with the 8.8 I have in the garage. Pull the stock tank and fuel lines. pressure wash the engine bay and paint it all with Black POR-15.

Well I am finally getting the garage straight enough to start working on the truck. I only have 2 more weeks of working swing shift until I go to days. Then I will get some real work done. Here are some pictures of the engine compartment. Plan to work on swaping the 7.5 to the 8.8 this week and removing the gas tank and fuel lines and getting the fuel cell set up and lines ran. May try to set the engine and trans in this weekend to figure out where I need to cut the crossmember.
