My 4.0 swap

Just an update on my progress, its been a while but i have got some work done. Anyone know how I can upload pics straight from my PC without having to put them in my album first?

whats the story on this I almost got mine done we need to go wheeling. I found out there are 7 trails right by payson up here that is awesome. so when you are ready pm me we are planning a trip for the end of sept.

Well I have the front end all mocked up. Hoping to have it in roller state in the next month or so. Then onto the drivetrain install. I would like to be all done by October. Its hotter than shit to work in my garage right now though. 110+ looking to put in an AC unit soon.

Ok here goes.

Heres a few more pics. Im a little worried about the angle of my coils buckets. They tilt slightly back and make the coils bow a bit towards the front of the truck. Anyone think this is an issue? Heres a few pics.

Yeah. I did a ton of work in the last few weeks as soon as I can upload some pics ill give an update. Basically the front axle swap is done. Gonna start on the engine swap as soon as the motor mounts show up.

Heres pics of the latest progress. Pretty much done with the axle swap. Now moving onto the engine.

looking good brother did you use the track bar that came with the front axle? mine did not come with one had to fab it. the heat sucks its only been 90 up here not to bad.

Im using the stock bar cut down for now. Ill eventually build a new one with tubing and heims.

Looking good! Post up some pics once you get working on this trac bar. Try to get it and the steering as flat and parallel as possible!

A few more pics, need to get busy on this thing now that my garage isnt 110 degrees everyday.

Ok so I just put the engine back in my 1990 BII. I'm using the engine and complete harness from the donor 91 explorer. So far everything looks good. anyone know if i will run into any wiring issues here? It looks to be pretty much plug and play so far.
