I noticed in the drop down menu it does not.....but below he lists this below. I don't see why there would be any difference between a hatch and a notch.

EDIT: That box looks just like the box in this link below for an 87 (87-93 should all interchange). The one on Ebay is missing the blower fan and housing though, which I didn't realize before.

Damn! I just scrapped a '91 notch that was hit in the rear 2 months ago... not that you would want to pay the shipping for the ductwork from Wa. On another note, I could probably find one out here pretty easily if you want to ship it. There are a ton of Fox's out here because of the circle tracks.

I found a donar car for the heater/duct work.

I finally got my taxes paid and just got my sons birthday behind me. Next month I finally get to do some work on the Mustang.

I need to find an overhead police console that was used for a short time in the 90's. My car had one while in service.

Are you referring to the metal map light? If not, what did the console consist of?

Jim, that motor mount that was welded on the K member is where someone was getting ready to install a 350 or similar chevy motor, since GM mounts are made that way. Good save from it becoming a half bread

Holy crap, I almost lost my lunch even thinking of that happening. That didn't even cross my mind. What a travesty you've prevented Jim!

There was a guy in the local Mustang Club that had a 69 Camaro with a 5.0 HO out of a Stang in it. That was completely OK though.

I have seen a couple mustangs with chevy motors in them and one guy talking about putting a chevy motor in a stang...Makes me gag everytime I see or hear that...

as much as i love the 350 in my ranger. you cant rock a mustang without a ford engine. they have a sound all there own.

I hate surprises.

I removed the interior from the Mustang and found where the left front stud for the drivers seat had been welded resulting in some of the wiring harness melting:

I spotted a split in the drivers floor where it meets the transmission hump:

And I have no idea why these holes are cut in to the drivers floor:

Well Jim, if it makes you feel any better, mine did the same thing. The metal is so thin, my Dad's welder kept burning through it. Is that how the holes got there?

I am going to modify mine a bit when I rip the interior apart. I think I can accomplish it by cutting some square tubing in half and saddling it over where the studs go, or the "perch" I think it's called.

You can also make the rear bolt area damn near bulletproof by putting in subframe connectors like these below that actually tie into the rear bolts. As good as you are though, it would be pretty easy to fabricate the same thing.

I wish I would have taken a look at your build while I was there Jim. I was so caught up in my own I never got around to it. I feel bad now. I know I used the front of the car a leaning post at one point. I'll half to keep an eye open for parts at my local J/Y. I owe you a few favors now.
