mustang headers

i have searched a lil bit and didnt find much of anything about mustang shorty headers. has anyone used these on there small block swaps. i have a efi 327w with a t19 4speed. the motor is raise up about an xtra inch and moved forward.

My buddy ran factory mustang shortys on his 302 b2 swap and they cleared everything no problem. steel plate, drilled holes in it and set them ontop the factory mounts.

The Fox body mustang headers normally hit everything in the ranger swap. Frame rail on passenger side and steering box on the drivers side. Unless you get the motor up really high they don't work. And if you get the engine that high lots of other stuff is not right.

you'll have to cut the front tube(drivers side) about 3 inches from the collector and cope the tube at the flange and kinda tweak it down a little to clear the power steering pump.weld it back up..........worked for me

thanks boys. i have about 3 inches under my oil pan so im going to try it and see if it works

yea mine are cut and re-welded and clear everything just fine.
