Alright... So, my best bud just offered to sell me his 94 Mustang GT. I'm gettin' a great deal on it, as far as I can tell. Anyway, I need someone's opinion and help on this one. How difficult would it be to swap everything over to my 83 Ranger 2wd? I was thinking I could pretty well take the engine, transmission, and drivetrain and swap them all out. I wanted to use the disc brakes off it to put on my 7.5 axle but if everything will fit front to back, I'd like to just change over the whole axle and driveshaft. BTW, it's lowered so I won't have the option to lift the body. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, the motor and trans will work. You will need an oil filter relocation, and move your rad a little.

The Mustang rear will not bolt in, but the rear discs will fit your axle with one little cut.

No need to go lifting anything.

Do some reading, you've got the right mounts and oil pan, so you are on the way.

Thanks a lot, man! I don't have the car just yet, but I should be getting it soon.

Yessir, if it's a manual (T-5) transmission, the bellhousing is well below that infamous firewall seam. So, no need for a body lift or a sledge for that portion.

Let's see............a 1994 mustang. Isn't this the 1994-1995 years when they used a 70MM MAF sensor and 24lb injectors?
