music programs

so ive been useing garage band on my mac to make music. im wondering if theres more detailed programs out there that i can get? or does anyone kno were to get loops for free? im makeing techno and rap beats, thats just what im starting on. im just lookin for some help

How much are you wanting to spend? You could get SONAR PRODUCER and use KOMPLETE 6.

Sonar and Komplete is what I use in my studio, my versions aren't as updated as these, but it's pretty bad ass. Komplete pretty much has the best VSTs that I've heard, very realistic piano, drums and synths. Oh, I don't know if they're available for Mac.

Buy Logic Express instead. It is a good stepping stone between GarageBand and Logic Studio. Plus it's only $199!
