Muffler design... just for fun

I like Dynomax Super Turbos, once I "adjust" them. If you look into the inlet and outlet, the pipe size is reduced- the 2 1/2" on my Ranger was necked down to about 2". I stuck a pipe expander in each end and swelled the restricion back to full size. Flowmasters sound good as long as you have enough room behind them for about a 12" glass pack to kill the hollow tin can sound. Jones Max Flow mufflers look like low buck Magnaflows but they sound a little like a flatulent cow at some speeds.
