Muffler delete

You want us to read a 73 page thread? Are you new here?! None of us have that attention span. Hell I'm probably not even gonna stay focused long enough to finish this sen....

Ok.. believe what you will. Here's an example...
Think I Threw a Rod....

This is nearly half my job. I am telling you, the determination of whether or not a modification caused a failure is made largely at the dealership level. Most dealer principals and service managers are not willing to alienate customers over some of this stuff. We don't look at something rolling in with a problem, say "Oh, after market wheels/tires" and just whip out the big old "Warranty Void" stamp.

I skipped ahead to the last page. They are as bad as we are. Page 73 is a discussion of motorcycle insurance rates.

Yeah hes running a tune. That in itself changes engines peramiters. Gives them cause. I'm telling you facts that's happened to me personally. I'm a bid boy and if they want to void it ok. But I'm pretty sure they wont over some exhaust. Since they haven't before. Besides that it's a ford. If I dont put a tune on it. It will be fine. At least all my others have. In short. Tune bad. Bolt on good. Easiest way i can put it haha

I doubt very much that any dealer would void your warranty if you had an exhaust system installed by Midas Muffler on your truck. Functionally there is no difference between a Midas exhaust and one from Gibson, Magnaflow, OE, etc.
That said, I did put a Gibson cat-back on my Sport Trac when it was practically new. Now I leased it when gas was well over $4.00 a gallon so it was a measure taken to help mpg, which it did. I intended to buy it when the lease was up, which I did. The service department presented me with a $600+ bill to "Replace non-stock exhaust system" from the post-lease inspection which the sales department promptly threw in the trash since I was buying it anyway.

"I just have a new Ford Performance exhaust, and they are are requiring me to buy a stock exhaust to regain my warranty..."

"This is supposedly why they won’t use my Ford Performance Exhaust.... because it’s apparently “Off Road“ only"

This is the paperwork that came with the Ford Performance Exhaust

"May adversely effect" is spelled and pronounced different from "Will void" and means something different too.

That's language the legal department makes them put in to cover their butts when trying to build something for a wide variety of situations. By and large that statement has more to do with decibel level than emissions concerns or anything that would be detrimental to the vehicle.
