If you are having to reflash the PCM to get it to run every time the battery is out you have bigger problems than a dead battery. That is what I'd be looking into.
I thought the last time I looked into it that there were only 2 manufacturers of batteries. The only difference is in the specs that the name on the side of the battery wants.
