Hey everyone I gotta question. I'm trying to put a 2.3 in a 84. I have the rectangular rubber motor mounts that came with the truck. I got some engine brackets out of a 88 truck, this combination will not work. I bought the round rubber mounts to match the 88 engine brackets I have but these will not work either. Is the crossmember different between 84 and 88? Does anyone have any 1984 engine brackets they want to get rid of? Any help would be appreciated.
