Well, getting your ass kicked enough might make you eventually stop fighting. GM and Ford both failed at their attempts to build minivans enough that it's no surprise they don't offer them anymore. Aerostar, Windstar, Lumina, Venture--all sucked.

Chrysler, Toyota, and Honda have successful versions. VW and Kia are also making them. VW has the Routan and Kia's I don't know the name of.

Windstars and Freestars were not bad. There are still quite a few of them roaming around. Alot more than anything other than a Chrysler of the same year out there. The imports didn't really get in the game until it was about over. Now they (and Chrysler) are running a bunch of corny commercials trying to convice people how cool minivans still are trying to keep the breed alive. Ford decided that it wasn't worth the money to stay in a game that isn't popular making a style of car that not many people want and changed it up to something people actually want... same as they are now with the Explorer. Sure other companies still make minivans, but they don't sell anything like they did in their heyday back in the 90's.

Minivans started to go the way of the dodo during the SUV boom, just like the station wagon before it and like SUV's are now compared to the new carlike crossovers.

That Flex is a DANG nice car... on the inside. Making the outside less IH Scoutlike in shape would greatly improve its sales, I guarentee it.

vw is a caravan. lol..... and the aerostar was awesome, although ugly. they had so much room inside!
