Not sure where to go on this one...

It runs great 99.9% of the time

Since its been cold as hell its having an issue where itll fire up, run normally, untill i get just outta town (3 mi) then it will not accelerate. The only way it will is if you barely feather the throttle. Eventually itll buck and chug once or twice.

Now heres whats interesting...i will turn around, drive home (it never actually dies, or misses, or anything) park it, cuss it, hop in the truck and go to work.

Then i get home later, fire it up, and it runs like new.

First time it did it was just a slight flatline in acceleration, i had the rear defrost on and volts seemed a bit low, shut it off, and it was fine.

Then it did it monday to the extent it did today...i found monday the batterry was cracked and pos terminal nothing but a pile of corrorsion, changed battery and terminal, went for a 20mi drive, not a hiccup. Alternator throwing around 14v with all accessories on.

But today....its back at it.

No check engine lights, no rough running. Just the no acceleration.

The only variables when it seems to do it is outside temp, and letting it idle for 15-20 min to get warm before i leave.

I dont really know where to go. I thought fuel pump maybe...but i find it odd that itll idle and rev in park no problem

Also to add....when it did it i tried shutting off overdrive...no change. Same if i pulled it manually into second or 1st. So i dont think its a goofy trans problem

If it's cold that sounds kinda like a fuel filter with water in it. Other than that I was thinking iffy fuel pump...

I thought about maybe water somewhere after i posted this. Im gonna dump some heet in it and see.

Fuel pump was my inital thought after the first go around...just think its weird it never gives any issue any other time. Before it got in the 20s i put like 500mi on it in a week with literally no issues

Does the CEL work?

It sat in 20ish degree weather since 5 this morning...at 130pm i dumped a bottle of heet in...fired it up let it idle for 20 minutes...took off and it ran great for 10ish miles then it started stumbling....i got into it and it came back to life. Was fine for another 5 or 6 mi before it started stumbling...once again i laid into it it came back...was fine for another 5 or 10 miles then stumbled again...this time i put it right on the floor, it stumbled for a second then took off...ran it from 50ish up to...to fast...and i proceeded to drive another 10-15 mi until i got home with no issue.

Its supposed to snow tonight so ill pry default take the truck anyways...but ill try again tomorrow afternoon and see.
