More Bronco hear say.

Was this ever posted in here?

Some else ordered what is basically our car (they were a first day reservation) and they just received it. Same color, same top, same wheels, same trim package as ours.

Kinda neat to see it in more than a mediocre computer render.

I fricken love these things.

they're gonna sell a ton of them

If they only sold a ton, that would make only half a Bronco. They are about 4,000# if I remember correctly.

4500-5500 roughly. Kinda chunky for no bigger than they are.

My V8 steel bodied Ranger is 4k and my steel bodied cast iron block V8 F-150 is 5500.

5500 for a stock one is portly. My JK was about that with 39s, skids, bumpers, and a cage. The weight was problematic.

The weight just helps keep it grounded better for better traction!

Thinking about dropping tow package, it has been a constraint since production started and is about the biggest problem aside from the hardtop which we are not budging on.

Never gonna tow with it, just want it for a recovery point and bike rack mount. Held on by four bolts, the receiver should be cheap aftermarket and it would be one less star to align.

Projections for September:

They keep shutting the plant down...

Initially I was thinking have the extra wiring and "integration" of the full tow package may help the resale value down the road. We also had a hope that we might get it this year too.

As time drags on I can't help but ponder if the engine or trans goes out of her high mileage Edge the lack of a vehicle to peddle would probably offset any increase in resale value that the complete tow package might add.

And with used vehicles in very high demand and going for stupid prices and it not being winter so I could actually dd the Ranger while she swipes my F-150 until her Bronco would come in... it would be a great time to get a build email.

Just saw my first new Bronco in the wild. A red soft top 4 door. Looked pretty cool from 150 feet away going in the opposite direction. Obviously couldn't say what package it was, but I don't think it had the Sasquatch lift or tires.
