I used to go up north quite regularly to go fishing or whatever. Used to take my old 94 E150 Mark III hightop conversion...

Had a set of A/T's on it and i gurantee that thing spent more time wheeling down logging and seasonal roads then 98% of jeeps do these days.

These are the people who buy trucks though. it doesn't make a ton of sense for a car company to manufacture a vehicle designed for 2% of the market. Jeep, ford, whoever is gonna market to those 98% of people who think a gravel driveway is extreme offroading. They just want the "look" of an offroad vehicle.

The general public buys the hell out of wranglers though, and they are about as hardcore as it gets anymore.

Remember when the Ramcharger, Bronco, K5/Jimmy twins, the BII, S10 blazer, CJ, etc etc all were damn capable off roaders in stock form?

Shit besides the wrangler and maybe the trailhawk versions of other jeeps....i bet i could follow any of these so called "off roaders" down any trail in my friggin 2wd 77.

Somethin to be said for ground clearence and parts that wont break....and a crazy hillbilly not afraid of the skinny pedal.

is as pathetic as this Wuhan Wang Chung monkey bat cat lab testing carcass diseased filth meat mess virus.
toilet paper shortage,,,,?... people fighting over it, really ? there"s plenty of other options, blaming our President, cancelled sporting events, half the country's mad as hell, the other half crazy as hell.

Do you not read the news rusty? France Italy and Spain have put their entire populous in lock down. If we don't do something here... it will be the same. I tend to error on the safe side of all things... this is no different.

I was pretty much ready to shelter in place before this happened for a coupe weeks. I just increased my stash a little so we can go a month.

For sure, well said.... There are a couple of Twilight Zone episodes that dealt with panic come to mind.....
love that show, always have..the original Outer Limits is right up there with it on my list.

I should clarify...

If i had any symptoms...obviously i would do the right thing and self quarintine. But im not gonna lock myself away for months voluntararly like some sort of hermit.

No. Maybe its that southern rebel blood i got inside me...but ill be damned if im gonna live my life (for any length of time) in fear.

Im to stubborn to be brought down by some virus.
