Unless you are trying to have a perfect restoration and need that Mopar logo, there is no reason why you should be buying Mopar oil filters. Mopar filters are really nothing special, just like everything else made by Chrysler, Jeeps exempted.:thefinger:

So Now I can buy a Mopar oil filter, or a ACDelco, or a Motorcraft, or a Fram, or a Fram double gaurd, or a Protech...

It is a shame that Wal-Mart has room on their shelves for JUNK like Mopar products. Considering all the other options just feet away on the same shelf that possesses more value.

i won't use another fram oil filter. i put 4 on the same vehicle in the same day and they came from 4 different places and the car had no oil pressure.

You should read the thread on pre-filling a new oil filter...that procedure could help a lot with the oil pressure....JUST KIDDING!!!!!!

Hey all the Mopars I have owned are better then any jeep I have had to work on. The only jeep I worked on that was worth is weight in Manure was 65yr old willys that was totally stock. Now that old four cylinder is a tough little motor.
