I got a 1st gen ranger. I jus took the fender, hood, grill, front bumber, lights, etc.., off 2nd gen donor earlier.. BUT would it be possible to just modify the grill support on my 1st gen to make it fit?

Id really appreciate sum tips on how to get this done. So help me out please.

It would help to see what you are talking about, at least for me LOL.

i aint got any pics. id take some now but its too dark outside. there really aint much difference in the grill supports other than where the headlights go and how the grill mounts. Im willing to do the mods its jus ive heard alot of ppl say that the grill support has to b changed as well. the problem is that i aint got the tools n equipment to do the grill support swap. but if all i gotta do is drill a few extra holes to make the 2nd gen ranger front end fit on the 1st gen ranger, then so be it..

i will try to get the after pics tomorrow if i can

i couldn't do it today no room in the garage and it rained all day

goto LMC truck and get the newer grill support... it's bolt in right? if not then drill it out and have a shop weld it in place.... or you can weld it using thermite reduction!! just be sure to follow the directions!

fun at home!!!

nah its welded in. i might jus leave the front as it is for right now n change later on down the road. ill probably weld it back in myself when i get around to doin it. Thanks for the help thou IRKillroy

no problem though.... just remember thermite reduction can help you make titanium !!!! at home!!!! look it up on the web.
