Model kit builders?

I remember seeing Ertl ag tractors and the AMT backhoe and dozer kits when I was younger. I'd like to get my hands on them, but they always want so much money for them. Hopefully round 2 models will start reproducing them.

Dad has then from the 70's when he worked at JD. He also has a 1066IH and Massey (Like an 1130 type tractor) too.

They remade the 4430 (dunno about the others) in the 90's when I got mine.

Plastic models aren't the same they were when I was a kid. I used to do car kits in the seventies, I got the bottom half of a pt108 from the 80's. Last thing I bought was a airforce rescue boat. It's still in the box. Hull is in 4 pieces....

Ethan and I have built model rockets together several times. Haven't done cars or other plastic models yet, but that day may come soon. Mostly he's still absorbed by Lego, and I'm good with that.

I took my mom out shopping a month or so ago. She wanted to go to hobby lobby. She was doing her thing and I was done looking at the auto related mancave stuff and I wondered over to the model section. They had a model of a first Gen Bronco. I thought I might relive my youth and do it... until I saw the price. Wow!
