misfire help

what would cause my piston 4 misfire to switch to piston 3 then go back to number 4??

Coil pack. Those are paired cylinders and fire together. If there is an issue jumping between them, the coil is probably the problem.

Misfire

Is this a once in a while thing or is it continuous ? Check and make sure your Plug wires are not wrapped or laid close or alongside each other, the spark can tend to jump thru if a weak spot in wire. Check your Coil pack for cracks. Otherwise, there is not much else that can control or assist in controlling the spark. When you check the plug wires make sure they are good condition, flexible, no cracks, and routed to proper plug.

wires were just replaced because of number 4 misfiring but i got another test done and it said 4 was pending and the 3rd one is misfiring now then a check later in the day it was back to just number 4
