minor swap issues

i have an 88 stx that i removed the a4ld and installed a m5od in. now the cruise doesn't work and even with the clutch in it has to be in neutral to start. i swaped the computer also. i am out of ideas help please!!!!

did u get the wiring right, you need to splice 2 wires together to get the NSS to work and also 2 more wires to get the push button 4x4 to work if you have that. for the cpp you need to splice the pink with red/blue stripe the 4x4 i have no clue as i have a manual tcase now. That is all i can think of right now for the starting issue, are you sure you have the right computer, if you look through my old posts there will be a bunch regarding the swap, as for mine, everything works even the cruise

Even with the automatic PCM, the cruise would still work. I think you might have crossed some wires somewhere.

Did you swap in the transmission wiring harness?

somehow it got cut so i wired the ends on so that must be the issue then
