that banner thing is a great idea. I am up in duluth at college but I come down to Elk River occasionally. I was also working up in Orr MN this summer so I was the furthest north temporarily lol. I am doing my SAS right now but hopefully will be done before the snow flies. Ill go wheeling with anybody once my trucks done. I have been on a few private trails in eveleth but never actually in the park.
a couple years ago I took the ram up there just to check it out it was pretty cool. I didnt get to play much(went alone) but walked a few of the trail and they looked like you could get in to some really tuff stuff or just drive thur the woods with some bumps on the trails. I played in there mud pits and they weren't much of a challage then. If anyone plans on going I would bring my atv up and watch and play. Truck wont pass sound requirement anymore with my headers.
as soon as my solid axle swap is done I will be going. That is if I even have enough money for a tank of gas left lol. Should be about 2 or 3 weeks hopefully less
Been to Gilbert ORV park a few times its a great place to wheel there is trails for everyone. A 2wd can get most places and some are ought right nasty fun. there is a private campground (alcohol allowed) in town that you can take a trail to the park. also some good bars to visit after the a day of breaking things. Yes they do a sound check and it cost like 30 bucks for a 3 year trail sticker.
cant beat the red mud
