Hi, I'm new to the ranger thing besides the fact that my brother has owned two one that he rolled and I can use for parts. I just purchased an 86 ranger 4x4 XLT with a 2.9 and 5 speed. Before this I had a full-size Chevy and I already love this ranger far more. I purchased this truck for 1200 and needed a tune up me replaced the high pressure fuel pump and now runs great. Anyway I have hard time keeping things stock. I want to achieve as much travel at stock height as I can or even at a minimal lift I have the fab skills and equipment to do quite a bit. I was thinking longer radius arms and building mounts for longer shocks. Ill build bumpers and a bed cage as I get time and materials. I’m looking for any thoughts and ideas that might be good as you guys know far more what works in the rangers then I do. Also ill post pics of the new ranger ASAP

Just out of curioity im semi new to the prerunner thing, what do longer radius arms do

You want a MILD prerunner? You could just get a stock lift kit, put bigger front shocks and springs, and a tube bumper bar right? And add a rack and lights
