mild prerunner supension?

well what does teh dixon bros bed cage built for, it should tell ya. if you can get away with a 16" shock and still run 21"s of travel then i would do that. there is a big price jump in shocks from 16 to 18" shock but i have not really looked at the FOAs to see what they run but its all gunna kinda depend on what the bed cage is designed for.

front wise i hae seen good numbers and great setups with the 12" coilovers but you usually see 14" coilovers on these trucks. what does giant recomend for it since you are using their engine cage and beams, those should be built around a certain size shock as well.

If its a DD and you wanna do light prerunning you would be better off selling your truck and buying a 2wd truck that is either stock (if you really wanna build it yourself) or just buy one thats already built because you can get them for a lot cheaper than you can build. Plus you can still modify a built truck anyways and put the money into better mods than putting the money into the "essentials" of your stock truck.

EDIT: I say 2wd because its a lot easier to modify the suspension and you dont need 4wd if you are doing "light" prerunning, I hardly touch my 4x4 and I live in the mountains. Its also cheaper to keep it as a DD mileage wise too.
