Memphis Audio System

I'd go with pistons wiring kit but the amp I picked out is only 20 maybe 40 bucks and has the same power handling.

im not sure what size speakers your wanting to run? also, do you wanna go with components or coaxial type speakers? and can you build your own box?

anyways, he should definitly search out used gear(except wiring). diyma.com has a great classified section. ill see what i can find

sorry I looked at it too quick, but used gear is pretty helpful. I dont trust used speakers at all though. You have to be careful with used capacitors too. If not discharged properly they are like grenades.

i dont want to build my own box. i plan on buying one that is already ported correctly so i dont have to mess with it. i found the system i want.

and some kind of component speakers to go along with this.

wow, you go from talking about memphis and now your considering ma audio. theyre not even in the same league. memphis makes some nice gear. from entry level gear all the way to spl competition. with ma audio, if all you want is bass and dont care about quality then go for it. weve been trying to steer you in the right direction.

yeahhh ignore the MA Audio. im going to stick with trying the memphis. i dont want to pay the cost for Kicker, but ive heard some good things about memphis even that it has a good price for what you get.

Go with the Memphis audio and have it professionally installed. You'll love it. :)

p.s. just make sure you have a good head unit.

It's not a question of if he'll love it, its a question of do you want to pay twice the amount for something you can install yourself. I invested 1300$ in materials alone. Would have been twice to three times that if I got it done professionally. Best part is it came out better than what a shop could do.
