Maybe good news

Just read in the business section of today's paper that gas prices should drop by as much as .50 cents by June. The price of a barrel of oil has taken a major dump this week.

I hope I'm one of the factors from driving way less. That's the best way to get it to drop. Less purchases, supply-vs-demand!

I hope prices drop by that much. Prices have gone crazy over the last few months. I remember back in October when I paid 92 cents a litre now its $1.24 a litre.

Three days ago a barrel of crude oil was under $100.00. It is supposed to drop to $3.50 a gallon by the summer time. Maybe!

The secret is drive less. If we all take a stand (like we have sorta been doing these last few months) it will continue to drop. It happened twice since 9/11 when gas prices went nuts for a few weeks and in 07 or 08. North Americans drove less, the ass wipes at the commodities markets took notice and the prices dropped.

Remember your 8th grade economics. Supply vs demand!!!!

Hell, I don't normally do anything when I'm off anyway. Have too much to do around the house! LOL

It's already begun to drop here, it was got as high as $4.37 here last week but hovered around $4.15. It's gotten to the point where I don't even pay attention to the gas so when I got gas last night I didn't realize it was at $3.90 until I was hitting the button to choose regular unleaded.

the other secret is to drive slower. i'm driving way closer to 55 than 70 and my mileage proves it works.
