Math Test

to post the answer is one thing. To show everybody how to come to that answer is a hole other thing.

Sorry! Shouldn't have scrolled down though! :icon_twisted: :D I'll edit my post and remove it, just pretend you didn't see it.

good thing i only work with 1 and 0s

I get into trouble when I start getting into binary divison! :bad:

Yep, came up with 144 also. Had to put my "Beverage" down, take my socks off so I could do the math right. Good test, we need more here to keep them brain cells just a working.

If you don't start drinking in the morning, you can't say you have drank all day. That's for you Pete!

I must be worse off than forest gump..... I don't know how in the world ya'll came up with the answer..... I havent had to do anything but basic checkbook math in over 10 yrs....

Try dealing with this in the morning with a hangover, did for over 35 years! I get dizzy just reading it again. Better grab a cold one and just wonder.

Boyle's Law states that the product of the pressure and volume for a gas is a constant for a fixed amount of gas at a fixed temperature. Written in mathematical terms, this law is

P V = constant

A common use of this law is to predict how a change in pressure will alter the volume of the gas or vice versa. Such a problem can be regarded as a two state problem: the initial state (represented by subscript i) and the final state (represented by subscript f). If a sample of gas initially at pressure Pi and volume Vi is subjected to a change that does not change the amount of gas or the temperature, the final pressure Pf and volume Vf are related to the initial values by the equation

Pi Vi = Pf Vf

well.... i some how got 256 but i got a pre,k math level soooo ha:icon_rofl:

oops.:icon_idea:

nice edit.......:icon_rofl:

Yea I glanced at it wrong... i thought it was 9+6.. hence my original answer which no one gets to see.:shok: (135, which is the correct answer for what I thought I was answering). But putting up another 144 seemed a little pointless after 5 or so...:icon_cheers:
