I have a 91 ranger 2wd and want to convert to manual steeering. I have 2 questions...first what parts are needed and second is having a 351w make it hard to steer?

All the manual steerin boxes are the same, they were only available from 83-97, hard to find, but are available new from the aftermarket parts houses, you will need the box and steerin arm. I put one on my green 94 and my Son's 93. MS is just somethin you have to used too, I grew up with it, so it has never bother me.

my nissan hard body was hard to steer with 235s but why do u want to convort btw go 4 it

Hard to steer is relative to what you're used to. I have a jeep with 33's, an AMC Rambler, A Ford Festive, and 3 Rangers with Manual steering. When you first get it it will be hard then once you get used to it it's alright. Backing a trailer up is kind of a pain, other than that you learn to try to steer only when moving
