I haven't changed my oil since Nov 06 (15-18kish miles) 
But I run synthetic and it gets a fresh quart every 3 weeks, still 60PSI at 1700RPM. I pulled apart a 2.9 in a parts rig that looked nearly that bad. Keep lookin for sploders, I found a 94 sport with a sweet running 4.0 and a blown M5OD for $400, I pulled the top plate off the M5OD to find 1st gear was missing half it's teeth, I picked up a good M5OD with 20K on a rebuild for $250. By the time I sell the rest of the parts off of it I'll come out even at least.
