... for a 1999 3.0 Flex Fuel. Only interested in OEM/FoMoCo... It's impossible to find one in the U-pick yard... I figure the employees pluck them because they're so easy to remove...

... but WHERE do they fence sell them? :dntknw: Help a brother out... :bawling:

Hello, is this interwebz thaaang ON? :D:sneaky:

Yes. It's on. I just pulled one. But I think it's the 4 pin connector. I'll look later this morning.

I'll put it on my grab from boneyard list

BTW. I was right. It's a 4-pin unit. My IAT is separate.

So to be clear, yours is Flex-Fuel version, but 4-pins populating a 4-pin CONNECTOR?

... whereas mine is 4-pins in a wider, single-row 6-PIN CONNECTOR, the outer 2 pins being blank... that must've seemed like a slick solution to someone at FoMoCo, when the Engineering Change Order (ECO) came down to move the IAT, but they still had freight cars filled w/ 6-pin connectors...

... well HOLD ON THAR!... how hard is it to back the pins out of the 4-pinner, and click them into my 6-pinner? Gots me some "dental" picks and tiny screwdrivers... just did a similar deed on my Transfer Case Shift Motor... but it had a red wedge thingy holding a 4x2 pin array together... hmmm...

None of the local yards, nor any of the parts houses have the 4 pin connector that my 98 had, so I cut the wires and soldered on shielded spade connectors.
Done about a year ago and still is working as it should.

I Forgot the flex fuel part of that. No. Mine is not flex fuel. I didn't know it mattered for the MAF.

If the 4-pin and 6-pin connectors are the same style, it may be possible to re-pin them.

Not sure exactly what you’re dealing with but I know on my 5.0 swap the MAF had a 6 pin connector on the harness (and it fit the MAF), but the MAF I had was the 4-pin version. I wasn’t sure what to do and got reminded that the extra two pins are for the Intake Air Temp and the pins fit the IAT plug, so I popped them out of the 6-pin and moved them to an IAT plug.
