MadracingAlley's 94 Ranger 2WD Build

UPDATE: I drove around yesterday only to find I have no brake lights, The throughout bearing that I just put in with the save cylender is noisy,(If anyone knows how to shut it up without pulling the tranny out again, let me know) and the engine is lacking power after I replaced the clutch. It isnot slipping though.....

UPDATE: I did some more tinkering and fixed the lights, Tightened the shift pattern, and pressure bled the clutch, and now everything seems like new. The sound I was hearing wasn't the throughout bearing but I think its coming from the MERCON V i'm using instead of the MERCON I'm supposed to be using.

UPDATE(1/10):Replaced MERCON V with B&M Trick Shift (Clearence $2.95 a Qt.) Very Awesome!!!! added Exhaust Tip to get fumes out from under truck......

UPDATE(1/11):Started died..................What do i do now.......

So as for last night.... I drove out to my girlfriends house last night (about an hour drive)and park it on a hill (thinking i might need to pop-start it, and i was right), so I can get pop-start it when I leave. the problem being.... Limited slip axles don't like to pop-start on snow, So Alex and I end up pushing the truck down her dirt road get to the next hill, and try pop-stop it, and i slid on the ice again.......and rested in the bottom of the valley in the street. So I called my dad(an hour away) To pull me 30 feet to the top of the next hill and finally got the effer pop-started and drove home. Alex wasn't very happy with me calling me stupid for buying that P-O-S.....(I Forgive her), and my father says I drive like a granny even though My speedometer read 55 and the roads here are heaved badly

Starter Fixed!!!! And It Runs Great. It Feels so wonderful to drive, Now for the 4" lift and 31''s

i feel your pain man, i hate it when my trucks break down and give me a hard time. looking forward to seeing that lift and those tires on there!

nice build man!!!
going the same route with my 2WD
im saving and hoping i can find a 8.8" with limited slip around here :D

That axle was like finding a Gold Mine!!!!! all it needed was the pinion tightened up..... found that out after driving it to school!!!

So now I'm lookiung at getting a job at Lowes, so maybe I might get some coin in my pocket for a lift and tires

My friend Glenn and I put a 32x11.5x15 BFG AT Baja Trophy under the front of the FX2 Last night and it fit perfectly under the stock sagging 2wd front axle.... So.....

I Almost bought a full set of four LT31/10.50R15 BFGoodrich All Terrain KO's for $175. They would have come with some rims for my Dodge, BUT..... I HATE DRY ROT!!!!! :(

AND those would have been perfect...........

Finally Bought some tires.

I got some Milestar SL300 31X10.50X15s.

I also replaced the spring which was a PITA
