In case some of you ever have trouble getting a spindle off, whip one of these up. Took 10-15 minutes, and will save a world of trouble.

nice, this needs to go in the homemade tool thread

used whatever I had laying around. Doesnt matter what the nut is, as long as it threads onto YOUR slide hammer. Just so happened that a castle nut fit the one I had. The tube is just some 3/16 wall 2x2 square tubing I had. Use whatever you can! as long as you burn in your welds hot, shouldnt matter, more than enough material surface area there.

Heeey...looks like you can use this on my truck eh? :icon_thumby: :D

Yea it'll get used when I do your front end as well.

I was lazy I jst spent $25 on a commercially made adapter for my slide hammer.

the advangage to the commercial tool is that it has THREE different threads so it'll work
on D28/D30, D35/D44 and D50/D60 threads.

My puller "lives" on an OTC slide hammer (I own two)

yeah I couldnt find one locally, and it only took a couple minutes to make, so why not :D plus tools that you make yourself are always cooler :D
