No. I used the new '87 master cylinder, instead of the '85.(although the 85 would have worked, I wanted a new unit.)
NOTE: LMC truck.com shows that this mastercylinder is the same unit for '83-'87 ($49.95)
The pushrods have a retainer clip around the end inside the master clinder bore. They will pop out with a little effort. They are inter-changeable.
I did use the pushrod from the '85, and the petal assemby.
NOTE: the '85 had an FM145 manual trans., although I was installing an M5OD and 4.0L clutch assembly into my '87 BII, 2.9L
