Solid Axle Swap
Truck of Month
I have to agree on how smooth they shift. I have another 146 I can rebuild and try out. Although I need to find a shifter for it.
Core makes really nice shifters for just about every RBV transmission:

Shifters for Ranger, Bronco II, & Explorer
Model Year Engine Manual Trans 2wd except Bronco II 1983-1984 gas TK4 / TK5 - not serviceable diesel "Mazda diesel" - inquire 1985-1987 all TK5 - not serviceable 1988-1990 2.9L V6 only FM132 - in development all except 2.9L M5R1 1991-1994 all 1995-2011 all M5R1 w/ deeper stub 4x4 except Bronco...

Very spendy but if (for example) you're an FM-145 guy who has to find driveshafts in addition to several other parts just to do a M5OD swap, the cost starts to make sense.
