are the bellhousings the same for all the M5OD's....like for example 1995 Ranger 3.0L mated to a M5OD out of a 94 4.0L and/or 2.3L?
or do i have to get a tranny out of a 3.0L to mate it to my 3.0L??

The 3.0 has it's own unique bellhousing bolt pattern:icon_thumby:

The 4 cylinder engines also have a different bell housings than a 3.0 and a 4.0.

RBV engines are devided into these famillies (which share common bellhousing bolt patterns):

2.8/2.9/4.0
2.3sohc/2.5
3.0
2.3dohc
