M50D-R1 transmission question.

it has the M50D-R1 4WD Transmission but ive had to drop it one time before to replace the clutch so why would it sound like its falling out?

Foozin34, I am in need of the 2wd m50d trans for my 88 ext cab 4cyl truck. I am stuck with a 5spd 4x4 m50d trans from a 88 and cant use in mine due to it being 4wd. Id do a swap if your trans is any good and working.
