lynchburg va

pick & save is great - most of their newer rangers are wrecked though. Also there is charlie chickens tucked away nearby.
Also Richmond is a gold mine with Chesterfield's and Circle auto parts, they are sister yards. Admission to one gets you in the other for the day.

I'm in Lynchburg, and know a few other Ranger owners in the area. We should all meet up sometime!

I live right on the edge of campbell county and appomattox. there are some trails in the national forest, and in amherst. there is peavine off of rt. 130 going towards natural bridge. There is also trails around the crabtree falls area in amherst county. of course i have only found peavine but have never gone down it. never found the ones around crabtree falls though.

You can go to va4wda.org for some info.

I used to live in NJ, and there was only mud. Supposed to be some more technical ones around here though.

We are planning a run the last weekend of August. I am not sure if we will be doing Shoe Creek (Crabtree falls/meadows) or Stone Run (Big Levels). Both are passable with stock 4x4.

Finally! Another Ranger owner within a hundred mile radius that is modding! LOL If you need any help with anything man, let me know. I don't know a lot but would LOVE to learn about the 2.3t swap (:E). There's a ranger meet going on sometime in June I believe down in Charlotte I might be going to. It's on RPS and FRF if ya wanna check it out.

I know exactly how you feel. Although my 88 is starting to separate into more pieces all the time, i want to have it goin this time next year. between work, family and budget, it will kill the timely manner that i would like to have it done in. I dont think i would go to the charlotte meet till my ranger is goin so i have something to show for my self. BUT after the 2.3 is rebuilt and in the truck, i'd be happy to drop you a line one weekend if you would like to check it out.

live in cville if anyone knws any places in va to get parts for a 88 stx for cheap holla a pm at me thanks

Only place I can think of would be Craigslist or Pick and Save in Rustburg man.
