Hey all, Im not exactly new here as I have been going to this site for 2 years and used to have a different profile (until I lost my internet and forgot the username and password
) But Im back
. I have an 87 XL 2.9l mtsu 5spd 4wd dubbed Anger. Little backstory I traded my 1978 chevy for it back in the beginning of 2011(yes thats the Ranger in the background.)
I didnt want the chevy anymore it was too big. My buddy had the Ranger and Loved my Chevy so I scored this litlle guy:
Well after figuring out how to finally get the engine running right (thanks to TRS members
) The rod bearings took a poo and the engine blew on me right down the street from my house.
I was so pissed I kicked the fender and the R in Ranger fell of and considering the amount it caused Anger just seemed fitting and it stuck. Now have a new 2.9 and im looking to lift it and have fun and learn as much from doing it and absorb as much knowlege from you guys as possible.
LONG LIVE TRS!!

). But i dont have the cash to go to school unfortunately. I took 4 years of autoshop in high school and have learned much from experience, but I am nowhere near where i need/want to be yet. I still gotta learn to weld!
Ill probably just end up buying a welder and figuring out, just like when I taught myself to drive stick( the standard clutch chevy was much easier, I stalled 4 times in the middle of the highway in the Ranger because I needed a part from Auto Zone
