so I just installed a tire and wheel package couple nights ago and noticed that the lug nuts that are on rangers were too long to allow the center cap to fit over these new wheels (wheels were on a wrangler.) Can I just go to an autoparts store and buy some shorter lug nuts or are the threads on the hub too long?

do they sell some of those at advance or autozone?

they sell them at most auto parts stores, yes. i would take 1 lug nut off your truck and bring it with you so you know how much shorter the ones you are looking at are going to be

good luck

Most trailer supply stores sell lug nuts considerably cheaper than the parts stores. I would try them if you can. Lug nuts here through the trailer supply are only $.40 each for open ends.
