That is a really sharp Maverick, even if it is only a six. Enjoy the ride. Anything more than the stock 302 they offered with really do a number on that frame. I used the rear end out of V-8 Maverick under my Courrier. Bought a Pinto from a guy at work whose wife said "It has to Go!" He put it sidewise into a telephone pole after leaving a stop sign (some alchohol involved). Had a built 351/C-4, narrowed 9", line lock and Creagers all around. Fun little town car.

I have a '77 pinto, a spare 351c, and I custom build 9"s. Maybe someday.

the engine still has a little bit of kick to it cause it still has the old school distributor, in 74 they started switching over to electronic ignition then they started having a ton of problems with them and they lost alot of power

A sin ! A sin I say for a 4dr to be so beeutifull with a six as well! You will never find a 302 Grabber Maverick in this shape,no way.

Ha my buddy in school had a 302 Grabber and I had a 69 Javelin SST they were both cherry as hell but mine was faster. Even in 1976 they both got alot of attention, his grabber was midnight blue with crager mags and mine was black with chrome reverse wheels and baby moons. They were our first cars and one day I will build another 69 Jav just like it. :icon_thumby:

The Javelin was the better car by far.
