lost my cell phone

any one know a good way to gps a lost cell phone?? i had it at about 530 and then i lost it.. ive looked high an low.. its an android smartphone.. i cant access my google account.. i thought maybe a gps or something like that?? any good sites that would do it? its driving me nuts not knowing what i did with the damn thing ..

Sometimes the service provider can activate it remotely. Call their customer service line, if you have access to another phone of course.

Did some searching. If you can get into your google play account and the data is turned on you can install an app called plan b. It will narrow down the area the phone is in.

ya i found that.. if google would let me access it id be ok lol.. but i FOUND IT!!!! a mile down the road.. an i must say an otterbox is a GOOOD investment.. face down in the sand/salt snow and the droid maxx still works great!! woah ill be abel to sleep a bit.. just downloaded an app to help with it next time haha

I don't have a cell of any type, don't miss it at all, being on-call 24/7/365 definitely made me cynical about their worth

Check out the Version Family Locator. It is a GPS tracking app you install on the phone and then you can use their Family Locator site to track the phone. Intended to allow you to tack your kids but it will track any phone on your plan.

I have an app called "where's my droid" it lets me GPS it and it makes it ring if I loose my phone. Works pretty good.

For future reference. I had a billing problem that I went to the Verizon store to get fixed and they F'ed up. When I talked to Verizon by phone they told me to never go to the store because a lot of the stores are Verizon in name only and that call canter can do more for you.
