All,

The oil PSU connector is in terrible shape, and all three connectors to the alternator on my '84 B2 are well beyond their prime. I know I can find the PSU connector (they command ridiculous prices online), but I don't even know what to begin to call those style of connectors. The alternator connectors appear to be the same style, only they have covers over them. Everything I can think to call these in a search yields anything but.

Appreciate it if someone can tell me what these are called and/or where to find them. Thanks

Just a crimp with a eye on the end and a nut works for most of those connectors that slide on a stud. Like this.

Here is the original push on style.

That a pretty good price. I'd probably crimp a butt splice onto the stud myself.

Speaking of connections, what do folks usually do for the fuel filter when using a non-feedback 2150? I have a new Wix fuel filter for it, and maybe it'll be okay connecting the fuel line to it with the rubber hose piece that was packaged with the filter. Long term? Eh?

Is it recommended to use a 1/8 NPT hose barb in the carb instead and adding an inline filter?

1/8 threaded fuel filter or a 1/8 threaded hose barb. The carb would not know the difference and it would be a much cleaner install with the filter screwed to the carb.
