The truck place which sells Spicer stuff has no listing. I bought a Westar from the local parts store. 19$ worth of Chinese junk. The good news is it is too big. NAPAs are thin on the ground here, but I will try them next. I am tempted to use a grease needle to repack the original Spicer and put it back in. Spicer makes them but I havent found an applications list yet Anybody got any ideas? TIA

go to a junkyard and grab a steel driveshaft from a 98+ truck, then take out your factory shaft and toss it in the trash. the 98+ shafts use no carrier bearing.

would a shaft from 2000 4x4 work ?

if its an aluminum shaft, i believe they use a different ujoint and the mounting flange is a different diameter

I'm glad I asked. The transfer case end looked different in the pics the seller posted. My present plan is to re-pack the bearing and re-place the bad U-joint. This will buy me some time to find a steel one piece shaft. NAPA wanted 80$ for an SKF bearing. :icon_rofl:
