I have a 1997 regular cab, 6ft bed, 4.0, manual, 4x4 ranger I'm looking to sell to my buddy but need help with the price. So it starts and runs great but needs some work on the front axle. Nothing major but he'll have to go to a junk yard and find a part. I just don't have the space to work on it so looking to sell. Any help with pricing?

Seeing you are in Ohio and as clean as your truck looks from the picture, you could get more for it in your area instead of downn south or west. As far as price, I really have no suggestions. How difficult is it for him to find the junk yard part in his area? In my area, I seen a couple of trucks in my area, going for about $3500 on market place but that is pictures and what all has been serviced on them and overall mechanical condition? From my own experience, when I buy a used truck, regardless of condition, I already add $1000 to the cost of the truck. That is just usually getting the basics taken care of. Tires, fluid changes, tune up, brakes, steering, suspension..... No one really does maintainace on their trucks today. They just drive them and that can apply to trucks just a few years old.
