it might help if you tell use what engine you have, what kind of sound your looking for, if you want single or dual exits, and where you want it to exit...
either way, i recommend using aluminized pipe if you want it to last.
I replaced my stock muffler with a glasspack, and had a stainless resonator tip welded on.I have $120.00 invested, and that includes having the local shop do all the work.Sounds much better now!
I have a 40 Series delta flow (Flowmaster) on my 89. Sounds great with a 3 inch pipe from the Y to the back into a side exit. Gives a very deep tone. It was on the truck when I bought it, so I can't say how much it cost. You'd probably be best off just going to a muffler shop and having them put a system together.
na im done with the flowmaster 40. There nice and all but if want some awsome rumble get a flowmaster 10 series exhaust. There a one chamber so there really loud. ANd they sound awsome.
2.5 y-pipe back through a high flow cat into a flowmaster deltaflow 40 series single in-dual out angled to the corners.
Theres videos on my Cardomain on the 4th page, you can sorta hear it. Cell phone quality sound isn't that great. But it sounds like what you want.
**Keep in mind that tail pipe size, tip size, tip angle, resonated tips, and how close the muffler is to the motor, will all change the sound**
i like the duals with the 40 series.its got a deeper mellower sound than the same muffller on a single exhaust.but i hunt/creep around the woods a lot so its still too loud for my tastes.
