Short strand fiberglass is used in Boat hulls. Its rather strong. a correct mix is important. and 1/4 inch thickness can take a beating from a hammer and only dent it some.

I used to replace entire floors with the stuff. never had one fail.

I was thinkin that, but hes learning. And besides if he gets them running one at a time, it'll be a lifesaver having hte extra cash after he sells them.
