Hello. I am looking at putting 2" blocks and some coil spacers up front, and was hoping to score some shocks out of a wrecker.

My question is what (if anything) has shocks that are a bit longer than stock on my 1989 B2?

Also looking for info on what has much longer shocks that would be applicable when I lift it 4-6" (although at that time I hope to be able to afford new shocks, being poor sucks.)

try something from a ttb f-150....i'd start by getting the part number from a parts store website and then going to the actual store, getting someone to pull it and then measure to see how much longer it is.

The stock shocks for your truck should have enough length to them that you can do up to a 2" lift without having to change them.

I put a customized 5" suspension lift on my choptop and took a list of compressed and extended lengths to the local auto parts store at the time. They dug though their books and came up with a set of shocks for me to fit it.

I haven't checked to see what stock BII shocks are for compressed and extended, but I know that when I upgraded my rear leaf springs on my Ranger, 2wd rear shocks were too short, but 4x4 Ranger shocks worked perfectly.

I figured my stock shock would work, but was hoping to get something a hair longer...
